Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dante Cartwright (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Himekawa Kanzaki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the fighters buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Micheangelo Fripello, Paul Gruel and Chris Saunders.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cartwright gets tackled into the cage by Kanzaki. Kanzaki maintains the clinch.
Cartwright wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Kanzaki has him pressed against the cage.
Cartwright misses with a shot to the kidneys.

Kanzaki lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Cartwright backwards.
A frustrated look appears on Kanzaki's face as he tries to break the clinch.

Cartwright makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.
Kanzaki trying to control the position but instead, Cartwright has worked for underhooks and has pushed Kanzaki into the cage.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Kanzaki has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
Kanzaki swings wildly with an uppercut but Cartwright uses good head movement to avoid it.

Cartwright tries to throw a body punch but Kanzaki avoids it by throwing Cartwright back against the cage.
Cartwright manages to break the clinch.
Kanzaki misses with a double jab
and Cartwright counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Kanzaki's guard now.

Cartwright content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.
Cartwright is in close to Kanzaki's body, working some short punches and elbows.
Kanzaki really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Cartwright. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Cartwright lands a big elbow from half guard. That looks like it's hurt Kanzaki quite badly. Kanzaki pulls Cartwright in close trying to recover. Cartwright postures up and lands two really hard shots that put Kanzaki on queer street! The ref takes a look and decides to call an end to the fight! Possibly an early stoppage but Kanzaki doesn't seem to be complaining too much.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:32 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Dante Cartwright!
Dante Cartwright spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
