Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Guy Downs (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pavel Burov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Burov comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Russian Rocket kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Downs tries for a takedown but Burov circles away easily
and Burov counters with a left to the body.

Downs looking to score a takedown here. Burov is defending well but Downs drives through and ends up in Burov's guard.
Burov wants to get back to his feet but Downs is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Downs is fighting to break Burov's control of his arms but Burov is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.

Downs is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Burov is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Burov has escaped and now he's on top!

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Downs working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Burov doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Burov manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Burov rolls with it to try and escape but Downs cranks on the arm and Burov is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
