Rivaldi comes to the cage accompanied by Joker's Wild. Summers has chosen Conflict-Disturbed as his entrance music. Nathan Summers has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Dominick Rivaldi's chin.

With a record of 11 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Nathan Summers!
The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Cecil Peabody and Wesley Smith.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rivaldi scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.

Rivaldi uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Summers.
Summers wants to clinch up but Rivaldi keeps it at a distance.

The fighters circle momentarily. Rivaldi darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Summers swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Summers walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Rivaldi dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Summers misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Rivaldi.
Nice uppercut lands for Summers. That snapped Rivaldi's head back.

Rivaldi displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Summers throws out the jab.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Summers tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Summers connects with a looping right hand.
Rivaldi displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination.
Summers cracks Rivaldi with a right hand to the side of the head.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Dominick Rivaldi will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.


Rivaldi takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Summers throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Summers takes one to the side of the head.

Summers closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Rivaldi to the mat! Rivaldi manages to get full guard.
Summers stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Rivaldi swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Summers controls from within his opponent's guard.
Summersis looking to pass into half guard but Rivaldi pushes him away with his feet and jumps on top - now Rivaldi is in guard.
Rivaldi trying to stand up but can't free himself from Summers's guard.
Summers wants to sweep but no luck.
Rivaldi wants to get up but he can't break Summers's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

Summers is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Rivaldi defends well.

Summers has a closed guard, preventing Rivaldi from standing up.

Rivaldi stands and steps away. Summers gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
Rivaldi loads up on a big right hand but Summers slips the punch.

Summers changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Rivaldi tries to avoid it but Summers manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Rivaldi to the ground. Rivaldi escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

That was a close second round but I would say that Dominick Rivaldi will probably get the nod.

Summers will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Summers throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Rivaldi throws a series of punches but Summers avoids them all with ease.
Summers tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Rivaldi paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Summers misses with a hook. Rivaldi ducked under it nicely.

Summers is rocked!
Rivaldi drops Summers with a straight left! Oh this is bad for Summers! Rivaldi dives in and starts dropping bombs - the referee has no choice but to step in and save him!
