Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jesus Espinosa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chuck Norris (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Espinosa comes to the cage accompanied by It was Jesus by Johnny Cash. Jesus Espinosa has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Jesus Espinosa!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Chuck Norris!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Espinosa shoots in for a takedown and gets it.

Norris is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Espinosa pulls his head out easily.

Norris looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead.

Norris has hold of Espinosa's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Espinosa manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Espinosa is wriggling around trying to escape.

Norris is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Espinosa is surviving well by controlling Norris's body position as best he can.

Norris has control of Espinosa's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Espinosa regains control of the situation pretty easily.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Jesus Espinosa will probably get the nod.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!


Espinosa tries to close the distance and clinch up but Norris swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Norris shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Espinosa as he jumps to the side.

Norris closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.

Espinosa lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Espinosa lands a nice looking body shot.

Norris gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Espinosa to score an easy takedown into full guard.

Espinosa feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Norriss jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!

Norris is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.

Espinosa is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Norris is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.
