Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Edward Wong (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mark Adams (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Wong might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Legend of the USS Titanic. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
15 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Edward Wong! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
15 - 7 - 1, fighting out of Amsterdam, Mark Adams! The judges for this bout are Radbod Blank, Paulsen Ambrosius and Patrick Alders.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Adams swings for the body but Wong moves out of range.
Adams looks to score with a jab to the body but Wong is just out of range. Wong shoots in looking for a takedown. Adams tries to sprawl out of it but Wong keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Adams manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Adams connects with a body shot. Wong displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Adams throws out the jab. Adams throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Adams misses with an uppercut. Wong saw that one coming. Adams tries for a takedown but Wong circles away easily and Wong counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
That's one minute gone in the round. Wong lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Wong. Wong moves out of range as Adams strikes. Adams shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. Wong has his foot on Adams's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Adams works his way back into a safe position though. Adams is stalling in the full guard. Wong is pulling down on Adams's head. It's preventing any offense from Adams, at least for the moment. Adams advances position into side control! Adams wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Wong, who protects the arm well. Wong tries to improve position but can't.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Adams tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Adams has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Adams wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Wong, who protects the arm well. A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet. Adams wants to lay and pray for a moment but Wong keeps working. Wong struggling a bit here. Adams is trying to get an arm triangle but Wong is defending well. Adams looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Wong is looking for a sweep. Adams is trying to get an arm triangle but Wong is defending well. Wong sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Wong looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Wong is trying to get back to full guard. Adams wants to take a breather but Wong is having none of it. Adams is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Wong sees it coming and defends easily. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Wong is trying to control but can't.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Adams is keen to just control but Wong is a slippery customer. Adams is looking for a kimura here.
Wong looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Wong is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Adams pulls his head out easily. Adams is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. Wong slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Wong is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

Adams misses with a hook to the body
enabling Wong to counter with a crisp jab. Adams feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Wongs jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist! Wong misses with a wild body shot. Wong with a body punch. A glancing blow. Edward Wong seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Adams takes a swing at Wong's ribcage but misses. Adams jabbing away but nothing is landing. Wong looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Adams is fending him off so far but Wong persists. Nope, Adams circles away and we're back to standing. A telegraphed right hand from Wong misses the target. Wong misses with an uppercut. Wong tries for a takedown but Adams circles away easily letting Adams counter with a right hand.
That's one minute gone in the round. Wong misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Adams.

and Wong counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Wong. Wong looking to pass the guard. Adams keeping moving, preventing Wong from controlling successfully. Adams is trying to control the position from the bottom.

Adams throws his legs up looking for a submission but Wong uses it to pass to side control.
Wong working the ground and pound but Adams is defending the strikes. Wong cracks Adams with a big elbow. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Wong taking a breather here. Wong trying to control the action but Adams is working from the bottom. Edward Wong overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Adams is trying to control Wong's posture but Wong avoids it.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Wong taking a break here but Adams is having none of it and regains half guard. Adams is refusing to be controlled, as Wong sits in half guard. Adams is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Wong's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Wong's back! Adams is trying to stick to Wong's back but Wong is turning into Adams. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Adams's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Wong. Adams has his foot on Wong's thigh. That was a close second round but I would say that Edward Wong will probably get the nod. That's time! Wong's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!
Adams throws a poor cross that misses
and Wong counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt. A looping hook to the body misses from Wong. Adams does a little dance to reset his feet. Adams misses with a wild body shot. Wong ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Adams moves away. Wong cracks a nice hook into Adams's ribs. Wong shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Adams as he avoids it easily. Adams misses the shot to the body. No luck for Adams with that takedown attempt. Horrible takedown by Wong or perhaps it was just good defense by Adams which made him look bad.

and Wong counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Adams thinking. Mark Adams seems to be getting the better of the standup. Wong fails with a takedown attempt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Edward Wong. That's going to take a lot out of him. Adams throws a body punch but Wong moves out of range. Wong slips under a jab from Adams. Wong misses with a looping left.

Wong takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. Adams shoots for a double leg takedown but Wong sprawls well. He's pushed Adams's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Wong thows a body shot but no joy. Wong looks to land a right hand but Adams moved out of range. Adams throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Wong sees it coming and avoids it easily. Adams lands with a nice body punch. Adams on the wrong end of a nice jab. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Adams swings for the body but Wong moves out of range.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Adams moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot. Wong throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Wong is defended easily by Adams. Adams displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Wong. Adams fails with a takedown attempt.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Wong takes a swing at Adams's ribcage but misses. Wong jabbing away but nothing is landing. Adams swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Wong misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. A lazy left from Wong finds it's target. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Adams slips under a jab.
And that's the end of the fight! I would just about give that final round to Mark Adams. I think Adams has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
