The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mrd moves away from the strike by Slutje.
Slutje throws an overhand right that lands on Mrd's shoulder, as Mrd tries to avoid the shot.
Mrd needs to keep his hands up - Slutje had a free shot at his head there.

Mrd forces Slutje back against the cage and clinches.
Mrd changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Slutje fights it off and pushes away nicely.
