Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Nathaniel Price (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Patrick Prototype (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Price might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Thunderstruck. Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the fighters buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 11 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Nathaniel Price!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Patrick Prototype!
The judges for this bout are Hugh Johnson, Summer Carpenter and John Mangel.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Price shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Prototype is trying to defend but Price finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
Prototype is staying active underneath Price, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Prototype tries to get to full guard but Price has control of the leg.
Prototype trying to keep hold of his opponent's head but Price manages to pass to mount!
Price wants to control the pace but Prototype is squirming around nicely.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Prototype fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Price sprawls well initially but Prototype persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Prototype is keen to just control but Price is a slippery customer.
Price knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Prototype on the ground.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Prototype has gone for a leg lock! Price slips out almost immediately though and dives into Prototype's guard.

Prototype loads up on a big right hand but Price slips the punch.
Prototype throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Price's waist but Price gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Prototype off to one side.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Price.
Price lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
Price pulls out of a head kick attempt.

Prototype feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Price is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Prototype defends well.
