Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

6 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Tommy Boyce!
The judges for this bout are George Francis, Alan Glass and Chris Downing.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Boyce throws a nice looking combination but Bassey bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Bassey throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Boyce misses with a double jab.
Bassey throws a left and a right that both miss
enabling Boyce to counter with a crisp jab.
Tommy Boyce seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Boyce throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
Bassey is rocked!
Bassey throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Boyce cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Oh Bassey is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Boyce cracks Bassey with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Bassey tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Boyce pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Bassey is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:22 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Tommy Boyce!
