The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sloppy strikes from Chon. Those never looked like landing.
Huxtable moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.

It looks like Heathcliff Huxtable has been cut.
Some bone on bone action there as Chon checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
Chon misses with the combination.

Chon clinches with his opponent.

Huxtable turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Huxtable manages to end up in side control.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Chon tries to improve position but can't.
Huxtable lands an elbow.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Huxtable is looking to take a break and control but Chon is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Chon on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Chon tries to get out of the position.
Huxtable has knee on belly and moves into mount.
Huxtable fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
Huxtable postures up and throws a couple of big shots that have Chon in real trouble here! The ref calls for Chon to improve his position which he doesn't do, so the referee has no choice but to end the fight due to the strikes!
