Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Mike Peterson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Peter Tosh (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tosh has chosen Stepping Razor as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
16 - 3 - 1, fighting out of Hilo, Mike Peterson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
14 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Peter Tosh! The judges for this bout are Columbo Gatti, Jonathan Paton and Alyssa Summers.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Peterson looks to score with a jab to the body but Tosh is just out of range. Peterson dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Tosh. That did some damage! Peterson waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Tosh. Tosh feints and as Peterson raises his hands in defense, Tosh changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Tosh looking to pass the guard. Tosh trying to control but Peterson is working from the bottom. Tosh stops Peterson from standing up. Tosh trying to control but Peterson is working from the bottom. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Peter Tosh was stalling too much, according to the referee. Peterson misses with a wild body shot. Peterson throws out a loose jab but Tosh uses good head movement to avoid it. Tosh shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Peterson's guard. Tosh throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Tosh loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Tosh tries to free his leg and advance position but Peterson is retaining full guard. That's one minute gone in the round. Tosh looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Mike Peterson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Peterson throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Tosh fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Peterson is out of range. Peterson checks a low kick from Tosh. A swing and a miss from Peterson. Tosh thows a body shot but no joy. A looping hook to the body misses from Tosh. Peterson does a little dance to reset his feet. That's two minutes gone in the round. Tosh is trying to advance to mount but he's lost his balance and Peterson reverses the position - he's now on top in Tosh's guard. Tosh has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Peterson is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Tosh. Tosh tries to buck Peterson off but Peterson is having none of it. Tosh sneaks back into half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Tosh is pressing down on Peterson's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. Peterson pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Tosh is keeping the position for now. Tosh looking to hit a scissor sweep but Peterson is one step ahead there. Tosh thowing strikes but they're hitting the gloves, not doing any damage. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Tosh thowing shots but they're missing. Tosh has hold of Peterson's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Peterson manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

Peterson looks to land a left hand but Tosh moved out of range nicely. Good leg kick by Peterson there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

He'll look to pass Peterson's guard now, I'm sure. Tosh drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Peterson manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Tosh has Peterson in his guard. Tosh looking to control.

Peterson misses with an uppercut. Tosh walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Peterson checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Peterson lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected. Tosh connects with an inside leg kick. Peterson stuffs the takedown. Tosh smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button. A looping hook to the body misses from Tosh. Peterson does a little dance to reset his feet. Tosh turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick. Peterson misses with a straight left. Tosh blocks a low kick nicely. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Peterson throws a looping overhand right but Tosh ducks down to avoid it. Peterson moves out of range of the body kick. Peterson moves away from the strike by Tosh. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close fourth round but I would say that Mike Peterson will probably get the nod. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!
Peterson feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Toshs jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist! Peterson moves into range and lands a nice leg kick. Tosh throws a solid leg kick but Peterson takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Tosh. Tosh fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Peterson sprawls well initially but Tosh persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Tosh drops an elbow to the side of Peterson's head. Peterson keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Tosh wants to pass the guard but Peterson is defending well. Tosh missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Tosh is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Peterson sees it coming and defends easily.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Peter Tosh. Tosh shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Peterson pinned against the cage. Peterson gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Mike Peterson is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Peterson throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.
And that's the end of the fight! Peter Tosh comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Tosh has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
