Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Beaumont McHale (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Thomas Pynchon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the fighters buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 1 rounds, for the super heavyweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
27 - 10 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Beaumont McHale! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
23 - 13 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Thomas Pynchon! The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Cecil Peabody and Alan Glass.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pynchon throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. McHale tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Pynchon is in McHale's guard. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. Pynchon throws a big right hand that misses. Pynchon working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. McHale is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. McHale is keen to just control but Pynchon is a slippery customer. McHale sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Pynchon defending well though. McHale prevents Pynchon from improving his position. Pynchon avoiding damage under a succession of punches from McHale. Pynchon is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. McHale working the head and body with strikes. McHale wants to control but Pynchon is keeping him busy. McHale is nestled in close to Pynchon, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Pynchon wants to get back to full guard. McHale has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Pynchon is trying to maintain the position but McHale is very close to passing his half guard. Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with McHale in particular looking to stall. McHale works his way into full mount!
 That's one minute gone in the round. McHale landing strikes from the mount. McHale landing strikes from the mount. McHale unloading with bombs! McHale putting on the heat here with some good ground and pound!

That has opened up Thomas Pynchon's cut even more. Pynchon takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.

The cut above Thomas Pynchon's eye is starting to cause him problems now. This has been an exciting period of action! McHale has his opponent pinned against the ropes, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Pynchon's face.

Thomas Pynchon's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Thomas Pynchon's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:53 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Beaumont McHale! Beaumont McHale retains his super heavyweight title! After winning the bout, Beaumont McHale thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
