Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between William Dowe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dum Phuck (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, William Dowe!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

2 - 0 - 1, fighting out of New York, Dum Phuck!
The judges for this bout are John Roberts, Russell Pearce and Reed Andrews.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Phuck fails with the takedown
and Dowe counters with a left and a right that stings Phuck.
Dowe misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Phuck tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Dowe paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Phuck shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Dowe as he jumps to the side.
Phuck misses with a head kick.
Phuck shoots for a takedown but Dowe saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
William Dowe has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Dum Phuck.
Dowe leaves Phuck with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

and Dowe counters with a lovely straight right hand!

Phuck is looking to clinch but Dowe is avoiding it.
Dowe lunges at Phuck with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Phuck's hand.
Dowe stalks Phuck and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Phuck's face. Phuck staggers backwards, shaken.
Phuck wants to clinch up but Dowe keeps it at a distance.
Phuck pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Dowe shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Phuck eats them both and turns towards Dowe to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
Phuck tries to close the distance and clinch up but Dowe swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Phuck gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Dowe connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Phuck fails with the takedown
enabling Dowe to counter with a crisp jab.
Dowe bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Phuck's head backwards.
Phuck shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Dowe pinned against the cage. Dowe gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Jab, jab by Dowe - just one landing.
Dowe is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range.
Phuck fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Phuck is looking to land body kicks.

and Dowe cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

Dowe avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Dowe dips to his left and cracks Phuck with an uppercut!
Phuck wants to clinch up but Dowe keeps it at a distance.

Dum Phuck seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Dowe goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
Dowe scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Phuck doesn't seem bothered though.

Some wild striking there from Dowe.
Phuck misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Phuck with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Dowe to score with a decent uppercut.

and Dowe cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Dowe throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
William Dowe dominated that round.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Dowe drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Phuck escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Dowe gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Dowe has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
Dowe tries to free his leg and advance position but Phuck is retaining full guard.
Dowe wants to control from the top but Phuck keeps moving.
Dowe will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Phuck shoots in for a takedown but Dowe shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Phuck drops back looking for a leg! Dowe is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Dowe manages to kick Phuck off! Phuck jumps back into Dowe's guard.
Dowe is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

Phuck wants to stand up but Dowe is controlling the position.

Phuck throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
Dowe trying to hold on to Phuck's head to control him but Phuck postures up.
Phuck should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Dowe throws a strike from the bottom that misses.
Dowe is looking to get back to full guard here but Phuck has managed to pass to side control instead.
Phuck looking to punish the body of his opponent here but Dowe is avoiding damage well.
Phuck is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Dowe will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

That was a close second round but I would say that William Dowe will probably get the nod.
That's time! Dowe's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!

Phuck tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Dowe swivels and escapes.
