The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Willis.
Cantrell Willis seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Willis fails with a takedown attempt.
Man lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Willis circles away quickly and effectively.
Willis uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Man.
Man swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Willis shoots in looking for a takedown. Man tries to sprawl out of it but Willis keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the ropes. Man manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Cantrell Willis. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Willis shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Man counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
It looks like Cantrell Willis has been cut.
Man throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Man lands a body shot.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Oooooh!!! Man has knocked Willis down with a huge combo! Man steps away and waves a wobbly Willis back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!
Willis is rocked!
Willis walks into a straight right, dropping him to the canvas! Man swarms him and finishes the fight with a hail of punches! What a brutal finish!
