Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Beardy Bennett (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Forest Speyer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bennett comes to the cage accompanied by Shamrocks and Shenanigans- House of Pain. Beardy Bennett could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Forest Speyer's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Beardy Bennett! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Forest Speyer! The judges for this bout are Summer Carpenter, Damien Edna and Hugh Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bennett looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Speyer connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
It looks like Beardy Bennett has been cut. Speyer looks to score with a jab to the body but Bennett is just out of range. Speyer fails in his attempt to clinch. Speyer avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Bennett changes levels and scores with a jab to the body. Bennett lands the left hand. Bennett digs a good body shot into Speyer's ribs. A jab from Speyer misses. Bennett looks to land a combination. Speyer sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots. Bennett avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Bennett throws out a token jab with nothing on it. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Bennett moves in looking to clinch but Speyer pushes him off. The fight stays on the outside here - Speyer looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Speyer avoids a punch combination nicely.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Speyer swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Bennett counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Bennett tries to bum rush Speyer with a series of wild strikes but Speyer uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Speyer keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Bennett tries to clinch but Speyer is having none of it. Bennett throws out a leg kick but Speyer moves out of range and Bennett only half commits. Bennett misses with a looping right. Sloppy strikes from Bennett. Those never looked like landing. Speyer takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Bennett shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Speyer eats them both and turns towards Bennett to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo. Bennett tried to score with a low kick but Speyer checks it. A big left from Bennett misses. Bennett fails to land with a series of punches.
Bennett ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Speyer blocks a jab. Speyer throws a right hand that Bennett ducks under and follows up with a left that Bennett also avoids with ease. Speyer takes one on the chin but keeps coming.

Speyer moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body. Beardy Bennett seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Bennett with a nice cross. Bennett throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Speyer makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. Speyer is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot. Bennett misses with an uppercut. Speyer saw that one coming. Speyer lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent. Speyer lands with an overhand left. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Speyer swats away the attempt to clinch by Bennett. Bennett will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Speyer throws a sloppy head kick and Bennett moves out of range easily. Bennett cracks Speyer with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage. Bennett ducks under a wild hook from Speyer. Bennett misses the shot to the body. Speyer gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. A short uppercut from Speyer. A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors. Bennett misses with a body punch.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Bennett blocks a body shot from Speyer. Both guys are working to get underhooks. Bennett misses with a body punch.

That was a close round but I would say that Beardy Bennett will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Beardy Bennett's cut. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Bennett misses with a hook from the clinch. Bennett is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Speyer is defending well. Speyer lands a right hand that snaps the head of Bennett backwards. Speyer tries a body shot but Bennett blocks it.

Bennett tries to score a body lock takedown but Speyer shows good agility there to stay on his feet. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Beardy Bennett. That's going to take a lot out of him. Speyer throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Bennetts head. Speyer scores with a shoulder strike. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Speyer goes for a body shot but it's blocked.

Bennett has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Speyer after a bit of a struggle. The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Speyer takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life. Both guys are working to get underhooks.

Speyer tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Bennett was well out of range. Poor timing from Speyer. Beardy Bennett is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Speyer fakes a head shot and lands one to the body. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Speyer moves out of range of the strikes.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Bennett will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

A clash of legs there as Speyer blocks the low kick. Bennett works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance. Bennett throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Speyer on the side of the head. Bennett rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Speyer moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Bennett comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Speyer misses with a wild body shot. A swing and a miss from Bennett. Some bone on bone action there as Speyer checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one. Speyer avoids a punch combination nicely.
Bennett walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Speyer checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side. Speyer just misses with a punch to the body.
Bennett doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. Speyer takes a swing at Bennett's ribcage but misses. Bennett slips a jab and a cross from Speyer.

A punch lands to the side of Speyer 's head but he takes it in his stride.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Bennett missing with a left hand there. Speyer was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Speyer showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Bennett.
Bennett misses the shot to the body. Bennett pivots, looking for a leg kick but Speyer is out of range and Bennett settles back down. Bennett looks to land a combination but Speyer avoids it well. Bennett closes the distance looking to clinch letting Speyer counter with a right hand.
Beardy Bennett's cut is getting worse. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Bennett ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Speyer thows a body shot but no joy. Bennett misses with a jab, cross combination.
And that's the end of the fight! I would just about give that final round to Forest Speyer. I think Speyer has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
