Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the welterweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Taro Takaoka, Shigeki Fujiwara and Sosuke Kotani.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Langham tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Ribera paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Ribera throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Ribera scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Ribera connects with a single shot there.
Ribera throws a combination. Langham tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
Ribera tries to bum rush Langham with a series of wild strikes but Langham uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Ribera bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Langham's head backwards.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Langham is trying to drag Ribera to the mat but Ribera just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

Langham is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Ribera can't fight it off and eventually Langham manages to take the fight to the floor. Ribera looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Ribera throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Langham stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Langham tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Ribera manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

The crowd cheers as Ribera lands an impressive looking overhand right. Langham doesn't seem phased though.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Langham tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Ribera paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Langham fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Ribera, pushing him back against the cage.

The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows.
Langham wants a takedown.

Langham tries to land a knee to the head but misses.
Langham goes for a takedown attempt but Ribera pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Langham takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Manny Ribera is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Ribera throws a series of punches but Langham moves out of range.
Langham takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Langham is rocked!
Ribera plants his feet and throws a 3 punch combo. Miss, miss, boom! The third punch, a big right hook, connects right on the temple and drops Langham to the mat, unconscious! This fight is all over! Langham just couldn't keep out of the way of the whole flurry of punches!
