The judges for this bout are Franklyn Lucas, Steve Montenegro and Chad Campbell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pena stuns Padilla with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Pena swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Padilla counters with a good low kick that Pena was not able to check.
Padilla fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Pena manages to avoid it.
Pena misses with a double jab.

Padilla connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.

Pena catches Padilla with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!

A close round but Javier Pena will probably get the nod.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

and Pena counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Pena throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Pena lands a big right hand and follows it up with an uppercut. Oh and another big punch and a knee - Padilla can't take much more of this! Another big shot to the jaw from Pena and Padilla drops to the floor. Beaten and bloodied - he had enough there. A vicious beatdown by Pena.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:29 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Javier Pena!
After the fight, Javier Pena was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
