Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ivan Ivan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jack Star (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ivan fails with the takedown.
Star looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Ivan shoots in for a takedown but Star shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Ivan clinches.
Star tries to break free but Ivan pushes him back against the cage.
Star has had enough of the clinch but Ivan keeps him there for the moment.
Star managing to block the knees to the body from Ivan.
Ivan has Star pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Star manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.

Ivan jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Star walks away with a smile on his face. Ivan gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Ivan dives in and grabs Star's left leg, looking for a takedown. Star pushes down on Ivan's head and hops out.
Ivan closes the distance and clinches up with Star, looking for a takedown. Ivan pushes Star against the cage but Star circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Ivan throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Star was covering up waiting for the punch and Ivan finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Ivan wants to get up but he can't break Star's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

Ivan working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Ivan looking to sit in guard and control but Star gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Ivan tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Ivan might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Ivan Ivan.
Ivan moves in looking to clinch but Star pushes him off.
Jack Star is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Ivan tries to close the distance and clinch up but Star swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Star stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Star wants it to stay on the feet.

Ivan is really struggling to control Star but he's trying to hold on to the position.

Star doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Ivan throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Star's waist but Star gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Ivan off to one side.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
