Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Pierre Boisson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jack Johnson! The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Trevor Gratis and Dillan Fox.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Boisson shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Johnson as he jumps to the side. Johnson scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one. Pierre Boisson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Johnson misses with a body shot.
Boisson shoots for a double leg takedown but Johnson sprawls well. He's pushed Boisson's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Johnson throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Boisson on the side of the head. Johnson ducks down and throws a hook to the body. Johnson with a body punch. A glancing blow. Nice body punch from Johnson. A head kick misses from Johnson. Boisson closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Johnson goes for a takedown attempt but Boisson pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.

That's one minute gone in the round. Boisson shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away. The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up. Johnson keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.

Boisson cracks Johnson with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Boisson is working to isolate an arm here. It's a telegraphed submission attempt but he's gone for it anyway - and he's got it! Boisson extends the arm and Johnson is forced to tap!
