Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Tyrese Banks (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and George Saint Pierre (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Tyrese Banks! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, George Saint Pierre! The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Ian Loll and Robert Douchet.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Saint Pierre turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick. Banks cracks Saint Pierre with an open hand slap. Banks misses with a wild combination.
Banks misses with a two punch combination.
Saint Pierre connects with a body shot that sends Banks's belly button to the back. Tyrese Banks seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Excellent takedown into side control there by Saint Pierre. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. Banks can't do much from the bottom here. Saint Pierre tries for a kimura but Banks is defending well. Banks struggling a bit here. Saint Pierre stands up and we're back to a striking position. Banks misses with a double jab
and Saint Pierre counters with a thumping low kick.
That's one minute gone in the round. Banks connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son. No joy there for Banks, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Saint Pierre darts in and clinches Banks up against the cage. Banks letting Saint Pierre take a breather here. Banks goes for a takedown in the clinch but Saint Pierre prevents it.
Saint Pierre pulls guard effortlessly. Banks stopping the sweep attempt from Saint Pierre. Saint Pierre preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Banks throwing strikes from guard but Saint Pierre blocks nicely. Banks drops back looking for a leg! Saint Pierre is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Saint Pierre manages to kick Banks off! Banks jumps back into Saint Pierre's guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Banks working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Banks stands and throws Saint Pierre's legs to the side, diving into side control. Banks is trying to get an arm triangle but Saint Pierre is defending well. This has been an exciting period of action! Saint Pierre wants to control but Banks postures up. Banks throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage. Banks is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Saint Pierre has escaped the position, nice work there. Banks swings around for an armbar but Saint Pierre sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Banks's guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Banks is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Saint Pierre defends well. Banks looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Saint Pierre is defending well. Banks quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Saint Pierre has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Banks celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.
