Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Ivan Ko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Andy Wilkins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 18 - 11 - 1, fighting out of Hilo, Ivan Ko!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Andy Wilkins!
The judges for this bout are Micheangelo Fripello, Paul Gruel and Colin Fray.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wilkins misses the shot to the body.
Ko throws a right and a left that both miss.
Ko lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Ko displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Wilkins throws out the jab.

Wilkins tries for a takedown but Ko sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

Ko tries to clinch up but Wilkins circles away and keeps his distance.

Ko throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Ko looks to throw the jab but Wilkins is out of range.

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

and Wilkins counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.

The crowd cheers as Ko lands an impressive looking overhand right. Wilkins doesn't seem phased though.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Ko is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

This has been an exciting period of action!

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Ko is in a horrible position here. Wilkins smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
Wilkins is landing with some decent strikes but Ko is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.

Ko is rocked!
Andy Wilkins has got the better of the ground game so far.
Wilkins softens up his opponent with a couple of shots there and then CRACK! One massive shot lands there and Ko is out cold! Wilkins jumps to his feet and celebrates on the cage with the fans, who are, quite frankly, going absolutely mental!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:52 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Andy Wilkins!
During a confident post fight interview, Andy Wilkins thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
