Philips has chosen Dance Hall Days as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Kenichi Hosakawa, Yukihiro Shimada and Yukihiro Yamamoto.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Alvarado lands a jab to the head.
Philips misses with a looping left.
Philips cracks the inside of Alvarado's front leg.
Alvarado tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Philips was well out of range. Poor timing from Alvarado.
Philips misses with the combination.
Alvarado works the jab nicely.

Alvarado scores with a push kick.
Alvarado takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Philips lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Alvarado at a distance.
Philips throws a nice outside leg kick.
Alvarado takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.

Alvarado looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
Philips moves out of range of the body kick.
Alvarado misses with an uppercut. Philips saw that one coming.
Ray Philips seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Philips lands with a nice combination. Alvarado backs away looking to recover.
Philips throws a chopping leg kick but Alvarado manages to avoid taking any serious damage.
Alvarado throws a series of punches but Philips avoids them all with ease.
Philips changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Philips connects with a beautiful left hand that drops Alvarado onto his butt! Alvarado bounces straight back up though - he's OK. After the ref checks him out, we're back to the action.
Drew Alvarado's cut is getting worse.
Philips looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.

Alvarado is rocked!

Philips ducks down and throws a big overhand right - it lands flush on the jaw, knocking Alvarado out cold! The fight is over!
