Coming up we have a welterweight kickboxing rules bout between Andy Stone (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Shingo Takeda (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Stone comes to the ring accompanied by I stand alone - Godsmack. Takeda has chosen TAKEDA as his entrance music. Andy Stone had a look across the ring there at his opponent. 24 - 15 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Shingo Takeda! The judges for this bout are Shirou Masuda, Yasuomi Hirokawa and Yukihiro Shimada.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A nice leg kick lands there from Takeda. Stone connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt. Stone lands a body shot.
Takeda swings for the body but Stone moves out of range.
Takeda keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Stone. Stone scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
Stone tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Stone walks into a jab.
It looks like Andy Stone has been cut. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Takeda looking to land some kicks to the body here.
Shingo Takeda seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Takeda rushes Stone and pushes him back against the ropes in a clinch. Stone misses with a hook from the clinch. Stone is trying to stall.

Stone is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Takeda is keeping busy. Takeda effectively controlling the action here. Stone breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Takeda scores with a spinning back kick! Takeda lands with a right hand. Takeda slams his shin into Stone's torso. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Stone lands a jab-cross combination. No joy there for Takeda, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Takeda throws a leg kick but Stone sees it coming and checks it nicely. Stone lands with a hook. Takeda tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head. Stone is looking to score with low kicks.
That's one minute gone in the round. Stone steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Takeda. That one must have hurt. Stone tries to work over Takeda's front leg with a kick but Takeda checks it. Takeda buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Takeda digs a good body shot into Stone's ribs. Nice straight punches there by Takeda. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Takeda. Takeda is looking to clinch. Good work by Stone as he checks the leg kick. Takeda scores with a three punch combo!

Takeda fails with an attempt to clinch.

Stone throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Stone takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Takeda throws the kick towards the body but Stone avoids it. Takeda sizes up Stone with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle. Takeda looks to land a body kick but Stone moved away. Takeda slips a jab and a cross from Stone.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Takeda looks to score with a jab to the body but Stone is just out of range. Takeda misses with a wild body shot. Takeda tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Stone was well out of range. Poor timing from Takeda. Stone swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Stone scores with a crisp jab that stopped Takeda in his tracks. Stone slips under a jab from Takeda. Takeda keeps Stone at a distance using the push kick. Stone scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent. A shot to the body from Takeda misses and Stone counters with a series of strikes. Takeda will be more careful next time no doubt. Nice body punch from Stone. Stone takes a swing at Takeda's ribcage but misses. Stone throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Takeda. Takeda connects with a leg kick. And that's the end of the fight! Shingo Takeda comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Takeda has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today.
