Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Skull Crash (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mookie Magaba (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Magaba is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Three Days Grace - Animal I Have Become . These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Skull Crash! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Mookie Magaba! The judges for this bout are Dean Styles, Eddie Farnsworth and Jonathan Paton.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Crash scores with a body shot.
Crash throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Magaba stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Magaba shoots in and bounces Crash off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. Magaba's corner is telling him to maintain position. Magaba looking to pass the guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Magaba's corner is telling him to maintain position.
That's one minute gone in the round.
The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Mookie Magaba wasn't active enough on the ground. Magaba avoids the body shot from Crash.
Crash misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Crash gets caught flat footed, as Magaba shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Crash controls Magaba momentarily but Magaba frees himself. Magaba advances to half guard. Crash is looking to control Magaba's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Crash avoid being mounted? Crash keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Magaba decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet. Magaba will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Magaba stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Crash. Skull Crash is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Good standup being displayed there by Crash as he connects with a hook. Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Magaba!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! A punch combination from Crash misses. Crash circles away from the clinch attempt.
Crash defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Magaba. Magaba is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Magaba shoots in looking for a takedown. Crash tries to sprawl out of it but Magaba keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Crash manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Skull Crash has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mookie Magaba.
That's three minutes gone in the round. No joy there for Crash, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Magaba drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Magaba stopping the sweep attempt from Crash. Magaba is looking to work some ground and pound but Crash has wrist control.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Magaba passes Crash's left leg - he's now in half guard. Magaba is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Crash has managed to free his arm - good work. Magaba seems to be working for a kimura but Crash defends the submission attempt. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Magaba thows a huge punch but Crash dodges it nicely.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Mookie Magaba dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Magaba on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. Magaba shoots in looking for a takedown. Crash tries to sprawl out of it but Magaba keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Crash manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Magaba throws a body kick despite being completely out of range and Crash counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt. Magaba throws a combination that misses and Crash counters with a right hand to the body. Magaba drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Magaba throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Crash works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Magaba looking to pass the guard. Crash tries to land a sweep but no joy. Magaba gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
That's one minute gone in the round. Crash lands a jab. Magaba tries to score a power double leg takedown but Crash sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Magaba somewhat. Crash swats away the attempt to clinch by Magaba. Magaba throws a left and a right that both miss
and Crash holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. Crash escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Magaba shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Crash sprawls well. Crash wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Magaba gets slowly back to his feet. Skull Crash has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mookie Magaba.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Magaba fails to land the takedown. Magaba looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Crash is fending him off so far but Magaba persists. Nope, Crash circles away and we're back to standing. Crash lands a nice shot to the body.
Magaba shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Magaba showed some decent athleticism there. Crash trying to hold on to Magaba's head to control him but Magaba postures up.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Magaba decides to stand up. Magaba misses with a double jab.
Magaba shoots in and bounces Crash off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Magaba slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Magaba advances position into side control! Crash regains half guard, as Magaba was trying to land strikes. Crash is defending against the submission attempts here by Magaba.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Mookie Magaba showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round!
Some bone on bone action there as Crash checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one. Magaba showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Crash.
Crash jabs Magaba to the body, keeping him at a distance. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Crash changes levels and scores with a jab to the body. Magaba jabbing away but nothing is landing. Crash fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Crash getting the better of the striking in that exchange. Crash is looking to wear down Magaba with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.
That's one minute gone in the round. Magaba has his takedown stuffed letting Crash counter with a right hand. Crash throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Crash displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Magaba. Magaba misses with a low kick.
Magaba shoots in looking for a takedown. Crash tries to sprawl out of it but Magaba keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Crash manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Skull Crash has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mookie Magaba. Crash throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
Skull Crash is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Crash fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Magaba manages to avoid it. Crash cracks a nice hook into Magaba's ribs. Magaba looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Crash wants to control but Magaba is keeping busy.
Crash wants to get back to full guard but Magaba has mounted him! Poor strikes thrown by Magaba there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Magaba looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet. Magaba thuds his fist into the canvas! Oooouch!
Magaba misses with a head shot. Magaba looking to control and managing it successfully. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Skull Crash has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
And that's the end of the fight! Mookie Magaba comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Magaba winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
