Coming up we have a light heavyweight kickboxing rules bout between Conan Barbarian (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Juan Alfonso (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Alfonso has chosen ギターの神様だね as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Conan Barbarian had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 206.2lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Juan Alfonso!
The judges for this bout are Shirou Masuda, Yukihiro Yamamoto and Hirohito Nitta.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Barbarian with a jab.
Alfonso misses with a head kick.
Barbarian really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Alfonso tries to score with a low kick but Barbarian moves his leg out of the way.
Alfonso fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Barbarian manages to avoid it.
Nice body punch from Barbarian.
Barbarian takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Alfonso forces Barbarian back against the ropes and clinches.
Barbarian lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.
Barbarian tries a knee to the head but he's missed.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Alfonso looking to stall.
Barbarian on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
Alfonso breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Alfonso swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Alfonso walks into a big right hand from Barbarian and goes down! The referee sends Barbarian to a neutral corner as Alfonso gets back to his feet. He looks OK so we're back under way.
Barbarian closes the distance and catches Alfonso with a lead hook that drops him to the canvas! Alfonso is clearly dazed and struggling here! 3,4,5,6,7 and Alfonso is up to his feet but the referee has called it off! Alfonso is still far too wobbly and he's not going to allow the fight to continue! Barbarian takes it!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:46 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punch). Conan Barbarian!
Conan Barbarian really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that Hilo Nutrition Laundry 95 % logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty.
