Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Aafke Stam, Albert Achterberg and Nard Betker.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Janikowski feints and as Fellow raises his hands in defense, Janikowski changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Fellow is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Fellow is looking to stand up but Janikowski isn't so interested in that idea.

Fellow wants to stand and escape but Janikowski is having none of it.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Fellow shoots for a double leg takedown but Janikowski sprawls well. He's pushed Fellow's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Fellow uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Janikowski fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Fellow sprawls well initially but Janikowski persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Janikowski looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Fellow with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Horrible takedown by Fellow or perhaps it was just good defense by Janikowski which made him look bad.
