Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Nathan Screw!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Stu Brawl!
The judges for this bout are Summer Carpenter, Eliza Hachem and Steve Erwin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brawl closes the distance looking to clinch
and Screw counters with a lovely straight right hand!


It looks like Stu Brawl has been cut.
Screw avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Brawl doesn't manage to clinch there - Screw circles away.
Screw scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Screw throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Brawl waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Screw.

Screw cracks Brawl with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Screw swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Brawl misses with a head kick.
Brawl is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Screw lands with an overhand left.


That has opened up Stu Brawl's cut even more.
Screw will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Brawl thows a left - swing and a miss!
The fight stays on the outside here - Brawl looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Brawl lands a jab-cross combination.


It looks like Nathan Screw has been cut.
Screw moves out of range of the strikes.
A combination from Screw does no damage.
Brawl darts in trying to clinch

and Screw counters with a crisp one two that drops Brawl! Screw thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Brawl to his feet! Brawl is in big trouble!


Brawl is rocked!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Screw finds Brawl's off switch, with a big overhand right that connects perfectly to the side of the head! Brawl flops back against the cage, eyes gazing into the distance. Screw lands an unnecessary shot before the referee has time to step in and end the fight. Brutal stuff but I'm sure Brawl will be OK.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:32 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Nathan Screw!
A very excited looking Nathan Screw made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
