Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

5 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jarred Rose!
The judges for this bout are Steve Montenegro, Chad Campbell and Alyssa Summers.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dougles feints and as Rose raises his hands in defense, Dougles changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Dougles throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Rose works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Rose has his hands on Dougles's head, controlling the position.
Rose keeping moving, preventing Dougles from controlling successfully.
Rose working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Dougles.
Dougles wants to pass the guard but Rose is keeping the position.
Dougles is fighting to break Rose's control of his arms but Rose is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.

Rose looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it.
The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Jarred Rose.
Rose avoids the head kick by Dougles.

Dougles wants to clinch up but Rose keeps it at a distance.
No joy there for Dougles, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Rose throws a sloppy head kick and Dougles moves out of range easily.
Rose shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Rose was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Rose is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Dougles can't stay in a position like this for much longer.

Rose scoring with some good ground and pound from mount here. Will he manage to finish Dougles?

The referee warns Dougles that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
Dougles is rocked!
Rose has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Rose postures up and throws a massive shot that knocks Dougles out cold! Two more strikes to his unconscious opponent for good luck and this one is all over! Rose goes absolutely crazy with his corner! Wow, you can see how much that win means to him!
