Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Robert Hunt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Frank Johnson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hunt comes to the cage accompanied by Super Massive Black Hole. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Robert Hunt! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Frank Johnson! The judges for this bout are Franklyn Lucas, Dean Styles and Eddie Farnsworth.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hunt misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Johnson shoots for a double leg takedown but Hunt sprawls well. He's pushed Johnson's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Johnson closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Hunt's guard. Hunt is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control. Hunt trying to control the position.

We're going to have a standup here because Robert Hunt wasn't active enough for the referee's liking. Johnson displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Hunt.
That's one minute gone in the round. Johnson throws a head kick but Hunt moves out of range.

Johnson takes the fight into the clinch. Johnson lands a nice elbow.
It looks like Robert Hunt has been cut. Johnson breaks from the clinch.
Johnson moves out of range of the strikes. Johnson lands a right hook to the body.
Johnson defending well as Hunt loads up on a big left hand. Hunt throws a predictable looking body shot
and Johnson counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Hunt's guard now. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Hunt is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Hunt is looking to stand up but Johnson isn't so interested in that idea. Johnson must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Hunt is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Johnson is looking to advance position but Hunt has hit a scissor sweep - now he's on top in mount! Hunt has control of Johnson's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Johnson regains control of the situation pretty easily.
Hunt unloading with bombs! The referee warns Johnson that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hunt throwing strikes here but Johnson is writhing around nicely and avoiding any serious damage.
Hunt pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage. Hunt landing strikes, looking to finish! Johnson wants to hold on but Hunt pushes him away. Hunt lands a big shot there that rocks Johnson but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
Johnson is trying desperately to improve position. Hunt lands a nice shot to the head. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Hunt prevents Johnson from getting the reversal. Hunt is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Johnson can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
Hunt avoids the attempt from Johnson to control. Johnson in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Johnson wants to hold on but Hunt pushes him away. Hunt cracks Johnson with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Hunt can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Johnson is looking to escape. Johnson wants to hold on but Hunt pushes him away. Johnson is looking to improve his position but Hunt isn't that keen on the idea. Johnson tries to hold on but Hunt pushes him away. Hunt looking to control but Johnson is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Johnson slips a leg in and gets back to half guard. Johnson is staying active underneath Hunt, who seems content to just control the action from this position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Robert Hunt dominated that round. The cut man is working on Robert Hunt's cut. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Hunt throws a right hand that Johnson ducks under and follows up with a left that Johnson also avoids with ease. Decent striking displayed by Hunt there. Hunt misses with a low kick as Johnson jumps back. Hunt looks to throw the jab but Johnson is out of range. Hunt misses with an uppercut
and Johnson counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Robert Hunt overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Johnson looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding. Hunt tries to roll over but Johnson keeps him under control. Well, if Johnson is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Hunt wants to get back to his feet.

Still in half guard, Johnson seems content to control.
The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Frank Johnson. Hunt shoots in looking for a takedown but Johnson manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Hunt's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Hunt scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Hunt is keen to just control but Johnson is a slippery customer. Hunt is thwarting Johnson's attempts to control the position. Hunt working Johnson over with strikes. Hunt thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Hunt is looking to take a break and control but Johnson is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Johnson keeps control of the position for the meantime. That's three minutes gone in the round. The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Hunt connects with a nice short shot to Johnson's temple. Hunt is looking to take a break and control but Johnson is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Johnson looks like he's trying to stand up.
Hunt wants to lay and pray for a moment but Johnson keeps working. Johnson works his way to full guard. Good work. Johnson really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Hunt. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Johnson keeping moving, preventing Hunt from controlling successfully.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Robert Hunt wasn't doing enough on the ground. Hunt slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Hunt tries for a takedown but Johnson sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Hunt blocks a head kick by Johnson.
Hunt gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Johnson counters with a one-two to the body. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Robert Hunt. That's going to take a lot out of him. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Johnson slaps away a takedown attempt from Hunt, before circling back to the center of the mat. Hunt stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Hunt wants it to stay on the feet. Johnson scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. Some bone on bone action there as Johnson checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one. Hunt takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Johnson closes the distance and clinches. Johnson lands a takedown into guard.
Johnson gets to his feet - Hunt follows without any prompting. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close second round but Frank Johnson will probably get the nod - 10:9. The cut man is working on Robert Hunt's cut. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!
Hunt moves to clinch but Johnson breaks away and Johnson counters with a nice leg kick. Hunt connects with a crisp jab. Hunt tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Johnson paws at him with a jab and circles away. Johnson shoots in but Hunt avoids the takedown attempt easily. Johnson scores with a push kick. Hunt lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Johnson circles away quickly and effectively. Hunt is looking to chop away at Johnson's legs. Hunt misses with an uppercut. Johnson saw that one coming. Robert Hunt seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Johnson gets caught napping as Hunt dives in and scores a takedown. Johnson manages to retain guard. Johnson looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Both fighters are breathing heavily. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Johnson controlling the position. Hunt preventing the sweep.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hunt passes into half guard. Hunt is looking to take a break and control but Johnson is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Hunt has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Johnson tries to roll over but Hunt keeps him under control. Johnson has hold of Hunt's hands but Hunt slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow. Hunt working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. Johnson is not content to let Hunt control the position. Johnson tries to get to full guard but Hunt has control of the leg. Hunt takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Hunt is trying to control. Johnson wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Hunt is trying to work for a kimura but Johnson is defending well.
Hunt stops Johnson from getting back to his feet.
Hunt lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears. Johnson is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Hunt's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Hunt's back! Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Hunt trying to control the position but Johnson manages to sink in the hooks. Johnson biding his time, controlling Hunt. Hunt is defending well here and trying to improve his position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Johnson looking for the choke but no joy. Johnson is not going to allow Hunt to sit and survive in this position. Johnson trying to secure his dominant position for a moment - making sure Hunt doesn't escape.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Hunt wants to get back to his feet. Johnson has the hooks sunk in and you can see the will to fight slowly draining out of Hunt's body.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Johnson doesn't have the hooks in and Hunt manages to turn into his guard.
And that's the end of the fight! Robert Hunt showed his dominance in that final round. I think Hunt has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
