Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between James Proudstar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cain Marko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Proudstar comes to the cage accompanied by "Run to the hills" by Iron Maiden . Marko has chosen Get Back - Ludacris as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
27 - 16 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, James Proudstar!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
20 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Cain Marko!
The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Robert Twigg and Gwen Towbar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Marko keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Proudstar takes one on the button.
Marko throws a head kick but Proudstar moves out of range.
Proudstar slips a jab from Marko.
Proudstar wants to slow Marko down by chopping away at his legs.
Proudstar cracks Marko with a right hand to the side of the head.
It looks like Cain Marko has been cut.
Marko misses with a hook. Proudstar ducked under it nicely.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Marko looks to land a combination but Proudstar avoids it well.
Proudstar takes one to the side of the head.
Proudstar staying out of range there.
Marko throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Proudstar.
Proudstar misses with a kick to the body.
Some bone on bone action there as Proudstar checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
Marko throws a right hand that Proudstar ducks under and follows up with a left that Proudstar also avoids with ease.
Marko uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Marko moves forwards but Proudstar connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Proudstar throws a hook but Marko avoids it easily.

Sloppy strikes from Marko. Those never looked like landing.
Marko wants to land a leg kick but Proudstar is out of range.
Proudstar finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Proudstar throws out a loose jab but Marko uses good head movement to avoid it.
Proudstar takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Marko gets caught napping as Proudstar dives in and scores a takedown. Marko manages to retain guard.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.

Marko pulls Proudstar in to control the position.
The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Cain Marko.
Nice uppercut there from Marko.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Proudstar misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Marko.
Cain Marko seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Marko checks a leg kick.
Proudstar throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Marko on the side of the head.
Marko ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Proudstar moves away.
A telegraphed right hand from Proudstar misses the target.
Proudstar looks to clinch
and Marko counters with a nice body shot.
Marko has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight.
Marko bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Proudstar's head.
Proudstar is rocked!
Marko misses the jab.
Marko is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Proudstar jabbing away but nothing is landing.

Marko slips a straight right by Proudstar.
Marko lands a big right hand and follows it up with an uppercut. Oh and another big punch and a knee - Proudstar can't take much more of this! Another big shot to the jaw from Marko and Proudstar drops to the floor. Beaten and bloodied - he had enough there. A vicious beatdown by Marko.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:10 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Cain Marko!
A very excited looking Cain Marko made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
