Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mike Repo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Michael Jakson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jakson comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Thriller kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
7 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Mike Repo! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
18 - 21 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Michael Jakson! The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Frank Dennis and Gwen Towbar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Repo tries to keep at a distance but Jakson has taken the fight into the clinch. Repo letting Jakson take a breather here. Repo wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Jakson manages to break the clinch.
Repo leaves Jakson with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Jakson will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Repo swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Repo takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Jakson breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Repo takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. Jakson is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Repo. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Jakson lands a lovely overhand right. Jakson moves into the clinch successfully.
Jakson has Repo pressed against the cage, preventing Repo from circling away and getting back to striking at range. Jakson's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows.

Repo throws a lazy right hand but Jakson sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Jakson wants to clinch up but Repo keeps it at a distance. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Jakson closes the distance and clinches up with Repo, looking for a takedown. Jakson pushes Repo against the cage but Repo circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Mike Repo has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Michael Jakson.

Jakson tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Repo displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Jakson. Repo scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.

Jakson drives through with a takedown into guard. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up. Jakson won't allow Repo to get back to his feet. Jakson is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Jakson wants to pass the guard but Repo is keeping the position.

Repo manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Jakson fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Jakson is breathing heavily. Repo throws a hook but Jakson avoids it easily. Mike Repo is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Jakson has a takedown stuffed. Michael Jakson seems to be getting the better of the standup. Jakson blocks a jab. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Michael Jakson showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Jakson ducks under a wild hook from Repo. Repo stuffs the takedown attempt from Jakson. Jakson gets slowly back to his feet. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Jakson is defended easily by Repo. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. No luck for Jakson with that takedown attempt.
And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Mike Repo. Well Jakson has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality.
