Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Arthur Rexum (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Boris Valentinov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Valentinov has chosen Krasnodar as his entrance music. Arthur Rexum has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
8 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Arthur Rexum! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Boris Valentinov! The judges for this bout are Aleksandr Martynov, Dmitry Maklakov and Fedor Mirinova.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Valentinov fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Rexum, pushing him back against the ropes. Valentinov prevents the takedown attempt.

Rexum wants to take the fight to the mat but Valentinov manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Arthur Rexum. That's going to take a lot out of him. A head punch blocked on the inside by Rexum. Valentinov lands a nice uppercut. Valentinov swings wildly with an uppercut but Rexum uses good head movement to avoid it. Valentinov pushes Rexum back against the ropes and lands a hook to the side of the head. Rexum has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Valentinov avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. Valentinov has a couple of punches blocked by Rexum.
Valentinov tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage. Rexum blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Rexum gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Valentinov regains guard.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace. Rexum trying to control but Valentinov is working from the bottom.
That's one minute gone in the round. Valentinov can't keep his opponent in guard - Rexum advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. Rexum moves nicely into side control. Rexum trying to control the position but Valentinov is working away. Rexum tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! That's two minutes gone in the round. Rexum is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Valentinov is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Rexum working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Rexum is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Valentinov looks calm but he's in trouble here. Rexum gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Valentinov is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Rexum lets go of the hold and Valentinov can pop his arm back in it's socket.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Arthur Rexum! Arthur Rexum bigged himself up after the win. The crowd seemed to love it.
