Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Mercenary Katarina (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tony Damager (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Katarina shoots in and bounces Damager off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Katarina with a flurry of punches that miss.
Damager utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Damager wants to sweep here but Katarina controlling him for the moment.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Katarina drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Damager dives on top into guard.

Damager would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Katarina seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.
Damager wants to control from the top but Katarina keeps moving.

If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.

Katarina feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Damager is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
