And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 1, fighting out of St Petersburg, Frodo Baggins!
The judges for this bout are Valeri Chadov, Vladimir Khabensky and Aleksei Zolotukhin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Baggins shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Blackmore napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Baggins tries to land with some ground and pound but misses.
Blackmore manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu!
Baggins really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Blackmore. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Blackmore is trying to work for a kimura but Baggins is defending well.
Baggins is looking for a sweep. Blackmore is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Blackmore is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Baggins missing with punches from the bottom.
Baggins moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!

Baggins controls Blackmore momentarily but Blackmore frees himself.

Blackmore drops back looking for a leg! Baggins is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Baggins manages to kick Blackmore off! Blackmore jumps back into Baggins's guard.

Blackmore thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

Blackmore drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. Blackmore seems to have locked his on tight now - Baggins screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Blackmore, as he picks up the win!
