Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Terrance Fortuna (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Xche Balam (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
8 - 8 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Terrance Fortuna!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Xche Balam!
The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, Yves DeLean and Elvis Blanc.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fortuna tries to close the distance and clinch but Balam swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Fortuna throws a hook to the side of Balam's head but Balam sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Fortuna will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Balam has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Fortuna finds it's way round the side to connect with Balam's head.
Fortuna jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
Balam misses with a takedown attempt - Fortuna sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Fortuna looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Fortuna stuffs the takedown attempt from Balam. Balam gets slowly back to his feet.
Balam throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Fortuna tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Balam is in Fortuna's guard.
Balam wants to control from the top but Fortuna keeps moving.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Balam might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Fortuna kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
Balam really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Fortuna. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Balam postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.
Fortuna had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Balam defends it easily.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Fortuna looking for a triangle here. Balam is fighting it but it looks tight! Fortuna pulls the arm across and this one won't last much longer! Nope, Balam is tapping out - this one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:22 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle Choke). Terrance Fortuna!
