Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Charlie Manson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mehmet Sable (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Manson comes to the cage accompanied by Helter Skelter. Mehmet Sable is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 20 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Charlie Manson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 13 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Mehmet Sable!
The judges for this bout are Roosa Järviläinen, Tarja Halkonen and Anni Minnemäki.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A punch combination from Manson misses.
A clash of legs there as Sable blocks the low kick.
A big right from Sable misses.
Manson keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Manson takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Sable misses with the combination.
Sable lands with a shot to the body.
Sable throws a hook but Manson blocks it.
Manson thuds his right hand into Sable's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Manson tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Sable was well out of range. Poor timing from Manson.
Sable throws a leg kick but Manson checks it.

A looping hook to the body misses from Sable. Manson does a little dance to reset his feet.
Sable keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Manson misses with a low kick.
Sable jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Some bone on bone action there as Sable checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.

Manson gets a takedown into half guard.
Manson thows a huge punch but Sable dodges it nicely.
Sable really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Manson. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Manson thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Sable's head.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Manson thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
Manson is trying to control the action in half guard but Sable is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
Sable is looking to improve his position.
Sable moves into full guard.
Manson postures up.
Manson working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Manson throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Sable works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Manson has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Manson loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Manson misses with an uppercut. Sable saw that one coming.

and Sable counters with a nice body shot.
Manson uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Sable.
Mehmet Sable seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Manson tries to land a front kick but Sable steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Manson throws a push kick but Sable slaps the foot to one side.
Some bone on bone action there as Manson checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
Sable takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Sable cracks Manson with a good jab.

Manson throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Sable was covering up waiting for the punch and Manson finishes the takedown easily into guard.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Sable is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Sable thows a body shot but no joy.
Sable swings for the body but Manson moves out of range.
Sable throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Manson sees it coming and avoids it easily.

Manson throws a body punch but Sable moves out of range.
A looping hook to the body misses from Manson. Sable does a little dance to reset his feet.
Sable misses the jab.
Sable is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Manson.
Sable jabbing away but nothing is landing.

Manson looks to land a left hand but Sable moved out of range nicely.
Manson displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Sable throws out the jab.
Sable uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Manson.

and Manson cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Sable is looking to land body kicks.
Manson dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Sable. That did some damage!

Manson lands a big shot that drops Sable! Can he finish him?


Sable is rocked!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Sable pulls Manson in close to his closed guard and prevents Manson from doing any damage or advancing position.

Sable holds on for dear life, maintaining half guard for now.

Manson sitting in half guard here. He lands a big elbow that has hurt Sable! Oh, Sable is in big trouble! Manson lands more strikes and the ref dives in to save him! The fight is over!
