Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Mushu Lee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Diogo Hakushaku (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lee comes to the cage accompanied by Papoose - Born To Win. Mushu Lee has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Mushu Lee!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Diogo Hakushaku!
The judges for this bout are Hirohito Nitta, Yasuomi Hirokawa and Kenichi Hosakawa.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hakushaku dives in and grabs Lee's left leg, looking for a takedown. Lee pushes down on Hakushaku's head and hops out.
Hakushaku looks for a takedown but Lee sprawls well.

Lee gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Hakushaku to score an easy takedown into full guard.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Hakushaku controls the pace of the fight for a moment.

Lee throws his legs up looking for a submission but Hakushaku uses it to pass to side control.
Hakushaku in side control, just content to control the action for now.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Diogo Hakushaku was stalling too much, according to the referee.

Lee gets caught napping as Hakushaku dives in and scores a takedown. Lee manages to retain guard.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Hakushaku shoots in looking for a takedown. Lee tries to sprawl out of it but Hakushaku keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Lee manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Lee lets loose with a powerful body kick. Hakushaku will feel that in the morning.
Hakushaku shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Lee sprawls well. Lee wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Hakushaku gets slowly back to his feet.

Hakushaku changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Lee tries to avoid it but Hakushaku manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Lee to the ground. Lee escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Lee tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Hakushaku manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Lee throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Hakushaku decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.

Hakushaku is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.
Lee is looking to control Hakushaku's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Lee avoid being mounted?

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Hakushaku looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Lee is fending him off so far but Hakushaku persists. Nope, Lee circles away and we're back to standing.

Hakushaku tries for a takedown but Lee sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

Hakushaku throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Lee was covering up waiting for the punch and Hakushaku finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Hakushaku is stalling in the full guard.

The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Diogo Hakushaku wasn't active enough on the ground.
Lee doesn't manage to clinch there - Hakushaku circles away.

Hakushaku shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Lee napping and manages to drive through into side control!
The referee asks Hakushaku politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Hakushaku prefers to stall for the moment though.

I would just about give that final round to Diogo Hakushaku.
I think Hakushaku has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
