The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Horrible takedown by Jaeson or perhaps it was just good defense by MacDowell which made him look bad.
Jaeson takes a swing at MacDowell's ribcage but misses.
Jaeson throws a looping overhand right but MacDowell ducks down to avoid it.

MacDowell regains half guard there - taking advantage of Jaeson's attempt to lay and pray for a moment.

MacDowell has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Jaeson is working away from the top position though.
