The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Grown leaves Ferreira with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Ferreira shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Grown sprawls well. Grown wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Ferreira gets slowly back to his feet.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Ferreira seems to have recovered his senses.
Ohhhhh! A huge head kick from Grown! Ferreira is out on his feet! Grown rushes in and throws more strikes. The ref is looking closely - Ferreira is covering up but the punishment is just too much and the ref steps in to stop the fight! Ferreira is staring into space, just thankful that the beatdown has ended. Brutal finish.
