Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between George Starkey (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kimo Kanoa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Starkey comes into the arena with Cock Sparrer - England Belongs To Me blaring out of the sound system. Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Starkey steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Kanoa.
Starkey throws a body punch but Kanoa moves out of range.
Kanoa lands a nice shot to the body.
Starkey walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Kanoa blocks a head kick by Starkey.
Kanoa digs a good body shot into Starkey's ribs.
An inside leg kick from Starkey misses.
Nice defenses there by Starkey.
Kanoa throws out a loose jab but Starkey uses good head movement to avoid it.
Starkey throws a sloppy head kick and Kanoa moves out of range easily.
A decent looking body kick lands there for Kanoa.
Starkey throws a jab but it's blocked by Kanoa.
Starkey throws a nice looking combination but Kanoa bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Starkey takes a swing at Kanoa's ribcage but misses.

Kanoa bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Starkey just misses with a punch to the body.
Nice body punch from Starkey.
Kanoa checks a leg kick.
Starkey just misses with a punch to the body.
Kanoa blocks a head kick by Starkey.
Kimo Kanoa seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Starkey throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Kanoa cracks Starkey with a right hand to the side of the head.
Kanoa tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Starkey was well out of range. Poor timing from Kanoa.
Kanoa pushes Starkey away with a front kick.
Starkey takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Starkey is rocked!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Kanoa looks to throw the jab but Starkey is out of range.
Oh Starkey is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Kanoa thows a body shot but no joy.
Starkey seems to have got his legs back now.
Good leg kick by Starkey there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Kanoa misses with a wild combination.
Kanoa lands a head shot.
Kanoa slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Starkey will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Kanoa throws a right hand that misses
and Starkey counters with a head kick.
Kanoa misses with a few strikes there.
A shot to the body from Kanoa misses
and Starkey connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Kanoa scores with a leg kick.
Starkey is looking to slow Kanoa down with leg kicks.

Kanoa blocks a head kick by Starkey.
Starkey misses with a wild combination.
Starkey defending well as Kanoa loads up on a big left hand.
Kanoa with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
A combination from Kanoa does no damage.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Starkey.
Kanoa throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Kanoa just misses with a punch to the body.
Starkey misses with a head kick.
Kanoa looks to score with a jab to the body but Starkey is just out of range.

Kanoa lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Kanoa.
Kanoa throws a right and a left that both miss.
Starkey tried to score with a low kick but Kanoa checks it.
Kanoa dips to his left and cracks Starkey with an uppercut!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Kanoa misses with a body kick.
Starkey throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Starkey tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Kanoa was well out of range. Poor timing from Starkey.
A lazy left from Kanoa finds it's target.
Kanoa cracks Starkey with a hook to the temple - Starkey is on wobbly legs here! Kanoa swarms him with hook after hook, landing with each one! Starkey falls to the canvas face first and the referee dives in to stop the fight! Kanoa wins by TKO!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:49 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Kimo Kanoa!
