Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Elix Skipper (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Travis Faure (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
6 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Elix Skipper! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
12 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Travis Faure! The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Faure looking to score a takedown here. Skipper is defending well but Faure drives through and ends up in Skipper's guard. Faure tries to free his leg and advance position but Skipper is retaining full guard. Skipper pulls Faure in to control the position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Skipper is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Skipper not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Skipper is working for a submission of some sort.
Skipper is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen. Faure is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
That's one minute gone in the round. Faure is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. Skipper is trying to control. Faure wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Skipper throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Faure looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Skipper looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Skipper's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
Elix Skipper has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet. A swing and a miss from Faure. Faure scores with a one two! Skipper had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
It looks like Elix Skipper has been cut. Donk. Faure catches Skipper right on the button with a cross.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Skipper ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Skipper gets the takedown into side control. Skipper content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though. Faure manages to work his way to half guard, despite Skipper's best efforts. Skipper works his foot free and advances to mount. Skipper controlling from mount.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Skipper wants to control the pace but Faure is squirming around nicely. Skipper controlling the position easily from mount. Skipper seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Faure for as long as he can get away with. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Skipper trying to control but he's not successful this time. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Elix Skipper will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Elix Skipper's cut. That's time! Back to the action!
Skipper slips a jab and a cross from Faure.
Faure fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Skipper to the ground. Faure is now in Skipper's guard. Faure throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Faure got a little sloppy there for a moment and Skipper has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Faure has managed to get both his arms back between Skipper's legs - danger averted. Faure landing with the ground and pound. Faure postures up in Skipper's guard and throws a big left but Skipper blocks it. Skipper preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Faure is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Faure throws an elbow that misses. Skipper uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Faure's guard. Nice move by Skipper! Faure working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Skipper.
That's one minute gone in the round. Skipper pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Faure is keeping the position for now. Faure is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Skipper looking to control the position here, rather than advance. Skipper tries to free his leg and advance position but Faure is retaining full guard.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Travis Faure was stalling too much, according to the referee. Faure takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Faure avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Skipper misses with a wild body shot. Faure shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Faure thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Faure moves nicely into side control. Faure thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Faure misses with the ground and pound. Skipper struggling a bit here. Faure swings around for an armbar but Skipper sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Faure's guard. Skipper throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Skipper stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Faure swivels though and keeps the full guard. Faure wants to stand up but Skipper is controlling him. Skipper pushing down on Faure's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Skipper not landing any meaningful shots this time. Skipper perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. Skipper passes to full mount! Skipper controlling his opponent. Faure working to try and regain half guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close second round but Travis Faure will probably get the nod - 10:9. The cut man is working on Elix Skipper's cut. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!
The fight moves into the clinch position. Skipper jumps guard but Faure turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing. Skipper wants a takedown.
Faure working hard to break the clinch. Skipper is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Faure gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Elix Skipper. That's going to take a lot out of him. Skipper jumps guard but Faure turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing. Skipper displaying some good clinch control by pressing Faure up against the cage.
That's one minute gone in the round. A head punch blocked on the inside by Faure. Skipper tries to pull guard but Faure holds him up against the cage and eventually Skipper drops back down to his feet.
Skipper is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Faure is defending well. Skipper prevents Faure from breaking the clinch. Skipper misses with a hook to the ribs.
Skipper can't get the takedown.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Skipper misses with a punch to the body.

Faure wants to break the clinch but can't.
The two fighters are working to gain dominance in the clinch. Skipper tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Faure breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Skipper misses with a straight left.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Skipper throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Skipper scores a takedown into full mount! Faure is bucking up trying to escape but Skipper cracks him with another couple of good strikes. Faure is trying desperately to improve position. Faure is squirming around, avoiding Skipper's attempts to control the action. Faure holding onto his opponent's waist for dear life, as Skipper tries to land some strikes to get him to release his grip.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Skipper jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Faure is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Faure and Skipper has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.
A bit of a lull in the action here. Skipper goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Faure rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Skipper's guard! Nice work there by Faure! The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Faure postures up in Skipper's guard and throws a big left but Skipper blocks it. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Faure postures up.
And that's the end of the fight! Elix Skipper showed his dominance in that final round. I think Skipper has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
