Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Bob Barker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Romero Jacare (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Barker comes to the cage accompanied by The Price is Right. Bob Barker could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Romero Jacare's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Bob Barker!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Romero Jacare!
The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, William Peck and Dillan Fox.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Barker throws a leg kick but Jacare moved away.
Barker connects with a single shot there.
Jacare needs to keep his hands up - Barker had a free shot at his head there.
Jacare fails miserably with a takedown attempt.

Jacare shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Barker wants to improve his position but Jacare is controlling well.
Barker makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Barker.
Jacare trying to control but Barker is working from the bottom.
Jacare postures up in Barker's guard and throws a big left but Barker blocks it.

Jacare drops back looking for a leg! Barker is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Barker manages to kick Jacare off! Jacare jumps back into Barker's guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Jacare wants to control from the top but Barker keeps moving.

Barker pulls Jacare in close to his closed guard and prevents Jacare from doing any damage or advancing position.

Jacare thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

Jacare lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.

Jacare drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Barker manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Jacare has Barker in his guard.

Jacare has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Barker can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Jacare has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Barker is working away from the top position though.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Barker pivots, looking for a leg kick but Jacare is out of range and Barker settles back down.

A telegraphed takedown attempt from Jacare is defended easily by Barker.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!


Barker lands with an uppercut that bounces Jacare off the cage and back into range.

Barker lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Jacare circles away quickly and effectively.

so Jacare counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Jacare stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Barker swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Jacare accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Barker has hold of Jacare's hands but Jacare slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Jacare is looking for a kimura but Barker is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Jacare to get the leverage.
Jacare is nestled in close to Barker, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Romero Jacare showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!


Barker throws a nice looking combination but Jacare bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
A slow jab from Jacare misses its intended target.

Bob Barker has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Romero Jacare.

and Jacare decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Barker's guard.

Barker drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Barker jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Barker wants to get up but he can't break Jacare's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

Jacare darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.

Jacare is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Barker defends it well.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Jacare is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.

And that's the end of the fight!
Romero Jacare comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Jacare has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
