Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between tyrone johnson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Glenn LK (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Glenn LK was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
johnson lands a nice looking kick to the body. LK takes a step back to recover.
johnson gets a takedown into half guard.
johnson prevents LK from improving his position.
johnson seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but LK does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Nice sprawl there from LK as johnson shoots in.
johnson fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. LK sprawls well initially but johnson persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
johnson seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
LK is staying active underneath johnson, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
johnson knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for LK on the ground.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

and johnson counters by moving into the clinch.

LK stands and throws johnson's legs to the side, diving into side control.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
LK is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt johnson will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

LK passes to full mount! That's big trouble for johnson!
LK tries to control but johnson wriggling away.
johnson really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

LK breaks from johnson's wrist control and lands an elbow.

LK is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, johnson has managed to escape the submission attempt.
LK misses with a head shot.

johnson's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.
johnson can't escape the position.
johnson bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!
LK has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but johnson can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
LK trying to keep a closed guard but johnson is proving a slippery customer.
LK had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. johnson is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. LK Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take johnson's back instead.

A close round but Glenn LK will probably get the nod.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
LK doesn't succeed with the takedown
and johnson counters with a left to the body.
LK takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
johnson drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
LK is not content to let johnson control the position.
LK manages to work his way to half guard, despite johnson's best efforts.
LK wants to improve his position but johnson is controlling well.
LK is breathing heavily.

johnson postures up and decides to stand up, from the half guard. The ref calls for LK to stand up.
johnson shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than johnson was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
LK takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.

LK is looking to improve his position but johnson isn't that keen on the idea.
johnson looking to control but LK is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.

johnson is landing with some decent strikes but LK is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.
johnson connects with a couple of good shots from mount.
LK wants to control but johnson is having none of it.
LK might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control johnson kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
LK is trying desperately to improve position.
johnson will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
johnson lands a big shot there that rocks LK but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.

LK tries to hold on but johnson pushes him away.

LK is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
tyrone johnson overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
LK regains half guard.
johnson lands with a punch from half guard.
LK moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.

johnson decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on LK, up you get!
johnson misses with a takedown attempt - LK sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
johnson connects with a good straight punch right through the guard and follows up with a right hook and a left hook! That last one sent LK tumbling to the canvas! johnson pours on the pressure with more strikes and the referee has no hesitation diving in to stop the fight! LK was done - good stoppage!
