The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Abbott swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Abbott lands with a good body shot.
Shaco doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Shaco takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Shaco misses with a takedown
and Abbott counters with a nice uppercut.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

and Abbott counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Asylum Shaco. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Abbott ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Shaco moves away.
Shaco shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Abbott counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.
Shaco is breathing heavily.
Abbott thows a body shot but no joy.
Abbott throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Shaco has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Abbott finds it's way round the side to connect with Shaco's head.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Shaco's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Abbott connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Shaco scrambles back to his feet.
This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Shaco. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.
Shaco slips under a jab.
Shaco takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Shaco on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Shaco on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
Asylum Shaco seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Abbott scores with a sloppy right hand. Shaco should have avoided that one.
Abbott thuds his right hand into Shaco's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Abbott scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.

Abbott lands a big right hand that sends Shaco crashing to the mat! Abbott stays standing though and waves Shaco back to his feet!
Shaco walks into a left hand.

Shaco is rocked!
and Abbott counters with a massive uppercut that badly hurts Shaco! He's just covering up as Abbott starts to tee off till the referee steps in and stops the fight!
