Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Cross Tomb (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and James Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Cross Tomb! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, James Jones! The judges for this bout are Sergei Dronov, Fedor Mirinova and Aleksei Zolotukhin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Tomb shoots and misses and Jones counters with a shoot takedown. Tomb fights it but they end up in guard. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. Jones passes into half guard. Jones stalling. Tomb knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Jones on the ground. Jones moves into full mount! Tomb won't be happy about that! Jones has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Tomb's face.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Jones connects with a couple of good shots from mount.
Jones is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Tomb is surviving well by controlling Jones's body position as best he can. Jones in mount throwing good strikes here, bouncing his opponent's head off the canvas.

That's one minute gone in the round. Tomb is trying desperately to improve position. Tomb wants to improve position but instead he's given up his back. I really don't envy Tomb right now.
Jones scores with punches from the back.
Jones is working for the rear naked choke. He has one arm under the chin but Tomb has hold of the other arm. A bit of a stalemate here. Jones has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. So, who will make the next big move? In this position it could be crucial.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Tomb tries to escape the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Jones scores with punches and elbows. Jones really has the hooks in deep now - there seems like no escape for Tomb. Jones is looking for the choke from the back position but Tomb is controlling his hands well. Tomb takes a big shot to the side of the head.
Jones trying to secure his dominant position for a moment - making sure Tomb doesn't escape. Jones lands a punch that was close to the back of the head but the ref thinks it's OK. Tomb rolls and manages to get back to half guard. Nicely done.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Ground and pound from Jones. Jones controlling the action here. Jones passes the guard and advances to mount! Jones punishing his opponent with strikes. Tomb is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Jones should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. Jones is working for a guillotine from mount but Tomb frees his head quite easily.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Tomb wants to hold on but Jones pushes him away. Jones lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Jones cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Tomb wants to improve position but instead he's given up his back. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Tomb is in bad spot here.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Jones lands a couple of good shots to his opponent's body and a final shot to the head. Good little attack there by Jones.
Tomb manages to reverse the position and now he's in Jones's guard. Nice work there by Tomb.
Jones looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Jones striking from his own guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
James Jones dominated that round. That's time! Back to the action!
Tomb fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Jones avoids it really well and circles away. A lazy left from Tomb finds it's target. Tomb tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Jones manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Tomb tries to score a power double leg takedown but Jones sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Tomb somewhat. Tomb tries to clinch there but Jones circles away.
Jones closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Jones lands in his opponent's guard. Tomb can't keep his opponent in guard - Jones advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. Tomb wants to get back to full guard but Jones has passed into side control. Tomb wants to control but Jones postures up.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jones controls the position from side control. James Jones has got the better of the ground game so far. Tomb tries to control the position but he's not in luck - Jones easily slips into full mount! Jones controlling from mount. Jones prevents Tomb from getting the reversal. Jones content just to control the position here. Jones has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Tomb keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Jones landing strikes from the mount and Tomb is in trouble! Jones sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. Jones raining down shots from the mount! Jones looking to control and managing it successfully. Tomb can't escape the position.

Jones tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Jones prevents Tomb from getting the reversal. Jones quickly switches position and commits to an armbar! It's a big risk for Jones but it's paid off an Tomb is forced to tap! Nice work by Jones.
