Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, jordan jam! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Hias Dreckspecht! The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, Daniel Bishop and Colin Fotheringham.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! The fight stays on the outside here - Dreckspecht looks like he's thinking about clinching though. A solid leg kick lands there for Dreckspecht.
A good leg kick by Dreckspecht. jam scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. Nice strikes from jam there. jam decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet. jam closes the distance and clinches. Dreckspecht trying to land knees to the body.
The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as jam takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life. Dreckspecht lands a body punch in the clinch. jam landing knees to the body.
jam gets a nice trip takedown into half guard. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Nice strikes from jam there. Dreckspecht tries to push off, looking to stand up, but jam manages to move to mount!
Dreckspecht is really trying hard to get back to his feet.
That's one minute gone in the round. jam content just to control the position here. jam landing shots from mount. Dreckspecht's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up. jam looking to control and managing it successfully.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. jam pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage. Dreckspecht wants to use the cage to get back to his feet here.
Dreckspecht looks gassed! Dreckspecht has given up his back, trying to stand up. Not clever. jam slows the pace down here. Having a little breather whilst he's in a dominant position, looking to rest and regain some energy, ready to go for the finish.
jam has his arm under Dreckspecht's chin here. Game over son! jam squeezes tightly and Dreckspecht is forced to tap out!
