Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Cottoneye Joe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kors Svardet (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Joe might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Cottoneye Joe. Svardet is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: "Relax" by Frankie Goes To Hollywood. I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
12 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Cottoneye Joe!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
7 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Kors Svardet!
The judges for this bout are Tarja Halkonen, Arvi Lind and Matti Vanhoillinen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Joe keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Svardet misses with an uppercut. Joe saw that one coming.
Joe is looking to slow Svardet down with leg kicks.
Joe changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Svardet tries to avoid it but Joe manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Svardet to the ground. Svardet escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Joe has taken the fight to the clinch.
Joe pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Joe.
Svardet misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Joe.
Joe tries to clinch up but Svardet circles away and keeps his distance.
Svardet misses with a hook. Joe ducked under it nicely.
Svardet misses with a lunging right hand
and Joe counters into the clinch. Nicely done.
Joe crunches a lovely knee into Svardet's ribcage.
Joe breaks the clinch.
Joe bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Svardet shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Joe but Joe pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Svardet looks gassed!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Svardet tries to sprawl but Joe drives through with a takedown into half guard.
Joe in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Svardet tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Joe!
