Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Eddie Cheung (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Wa Sa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sa has chosen Fat Lip as his entrance music. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
7 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Eddie Cheung! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
7 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Wa Sa! The judges for this bout are Yasuomi Hirokawa, Kenichi Hosakawa and Taro Takaoka.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sa throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Good leg kick by Cheung there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
A head kick misses from Cheung. Sa throws a sloppy head kick and Cheung moves out of range easily. No joy there for Sa, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Sa keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Cheung. Sa throws a series of punches but Cheung moves out of range. Sa takes a jab right on the kisser.
A left and a right from Sa both land. Nice combination. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. A lazy left from Sa finds it's target. Sa tries a head kick but it misses.
Oooh a lovely combination from Cheung sends Sa down but not out. Cheung dives into side control looking to finish.
Sa is rocked! We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. Cheung decides to stand back up. Sa is still on wobbly legs! Can Cheung finish him? Sa misses with a few strikes there.
Sa seems to have recovered his senses. Sa looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
That's one minute gone in the round. Sa lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Cheung circles away quickly and effectively. Sa takes one to the side of the head.
Cheung throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Sa misses with a combination
and Cheung counters into the clinch. Nicely done. Cheung escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Cheung misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Sa tries to score with a low kick but Cheung moves his leg out of the way. Sa looks to land a combination but Cheung avoids it well. Cheung lands with an uppercut that bounces Sa off the ropes and back into range. Cheung misses with a double jab.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Sa misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Cheung throws a half hearted mid kick. A head kick misses from Sa. Sa throws a right and a left that both miss. Wa Sa seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Cheung throws a head kick but Sa moves out of range.
Sa throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Cheung slips a jab and a cross from Sa.
Nice combo by Cheung! Oh, that's hurt him - Sa falls to the canvas and Cheung follows him into side control. The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Cheung scores with a big shot from side control... and another... and another! Oh Sa is done here - save him referee! More strikes land and eventually the ref does step in and Cheung can finally stop beating on his defenseless opponent!
