Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between John Matrix (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Oliver Oxenfrei (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, Colin Fotheringham and Phil Schofield.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Oxenfrei with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Matrix to score with a decent uppercut.
Oliver Oxenfrei seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Matrix gets a clinch.
Matrix lands a takedown into guard.
Oxenfrei trying to control the position.
Oxenfrei really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Matrix. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Oxenfrei might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Matrix kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

Matrix has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Oxenfrei can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Matrix controls the pace.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Oxenfrei can do anything to dispel that myth.

The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.
Oxenfrei takes a big shot to the dome and his eyes have rolled back in his head! Matrix's killer instinct has kicked in as he finishes the fight with more strikes. Impressive finish.
