Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Desmond Connell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Charlie Reynolds (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Desmond Connell! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
14 - 8 - 0, fighting out of London, Charlie Reynolds! The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, James Glass and James Atkins.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Reynolds uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Connell. Reynolds lands a body shot.
Connell throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Reynolds sees it coming and avoids it easily. Connell drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles. Connell misses the shot to the body. Connell throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land. Reynolds has closed the distance and engaged Connell in a clinch.
A frustrated look appears on Connell's face as he tries to break the clinch. Connell wants to break the clinch but can't.
Reynolds lands a right hand that snaps the head of Connell backwards. Connell working hard to break the clinch. Reynolds lands a right hand that snaps the head of Connell backwards. Reynolds crunches a lovely knee into Connell's ribcage. Connell is trying to force a seperation but Reynolds has the dominant position. Connell's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Connell misses with a hook. Reynolds ducked under it nicely. Reynolds moves forwards but Connell connects with a nice, crisp jab. Connell throws a looping overhand right but Reynolds ducks down to avoid it. Desmond Connell seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Connell throws an overhand right that lands on Reynolds's shoulder, as Reynolds tries to avoid the shot. Reynolds tries to clinch up but Connell circles away and keeps his distance. Reynolds is looking to clinch but Connell is avoiding it.
Reynolds moves into range and clinches up with Connell.
That's one minute gone in the round. Connell takes an elbow to the temple. Reynolds gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head. Connell has had enough of the clinch but Reynolds keeps him there for the moment. Reynolds lands a glancing elbow in the clinch. Connell tries to break free but Reynolds pushes him back against the ropes. A nice glancing elbow lands by Reynolds. Reynolds softening up his opponent with strikes, against the ropes.
Connell is rocked! Reynolds has Connell pressed up against the ropes in a tight Thai clinch. Connell is arching his back, trying to avoid the knees but a big one sneaks through from Reynolds - that's hurt Connell badly! Oh, another knee lands and Connell is covering up! The referee steps in to save him - possibly a bit early but Connell doesn't seem to be complaining.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:33 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Knees). Charlie Reynolds!
