Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Eddie Larios (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jose Aldo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jose Aldo will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Larios misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Aldo is looking to clinch.
Aldo uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.

Jose Aldo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Larios shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Aldo but Aldo pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Aldo shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Larios eats them both and turns towards Aldo to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.

Aldo throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Larios.

Aldo goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
Aldo shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Larios eats them both and turns towards Aldo to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.

Aldo tries to clinch there but Larios circles away.
Aldo will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Larios really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Aldo tries to bum rush Larios with a series of wild strikes but Larios uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

A nice glancing elbow lands by Aldo.

It looks like Eddie Larios has been cut.

Aldo pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Jose Aldo is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Aldo tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Larios manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Aldo throws a right and a left that Larios avoids nicely.

Aldo lands with an uppercut that bounces Larios off the cage and back into range.

Sloppy strikes from Aldo. Those never looked like landing.

Larios shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Aldo is flailing around, obviously not happy about being mounted. Larios locks hold of one of his arms and spins for an armbar. He's got it! Aldo is forced to tap!
